Changing the Diffuse Color for Area lights works now but I get a crash when I try to adjust the Alpha slider. This happens in all light types. This is in Wings 2.0.1 version.

oort
oort, I'm not able to repeat this.
I tried with View->Scene Lights on/off; all kind of lights;
Could you maybe provide me a step by step to get the crash and your preferences.txt?
Micheus,
Start Wings3D > Add Area Light > Edit Light > Click Diffuse Color swatch > Change Color > Slide Alpha Slider > Hard Crash (Windows message is "erl.exe has stopped working...").

Once, just now testing again it didn't happen when I do not change color and only adjust the Alpha slider. Maybe it is the combination of adjusting both the Color and the Alpha setting???

I just tested again and it seems that if I first only change the Alpha setting and then close the window. Then Edit Light > Click Diffuse Color swatch > Change Color there is no crash. It seems that changing Color and Alpha together is causing the problem???

Edit: It just occurred to me that maybe Alpha is not something that should normally be adjusted for lights???

Thanks,
oort
I could experience the error now, but in the downloaded version. In my development it's not happen. Confused
Hopefully I have fixed this in 9af12c6, seems to be a bug somewhere in wx as well, but since I cannot
reproduce it with debugging information it may take a while until that part is fixed.

Also does not happen in linux.
Micheus sent me a test build last night and the bug seems to be gone.

Thanks,
oort
Ok I have not seen what he have done, he have not sent me any code.
It was late last night... Smile
Dan, I did nothing about that, probably it was fixed in your commit.Smile
I did not make my fix until this afternoon in Sweden today, was that included in
you test build, Micheus?
