Micheus,
Thank you very much for the explanation and video. I am getting good results now. Yes, I had to enable Invert Y to get proper results as well.

'Convert Image Normal Map' in the outliner would be nice. I think we still need the autouv shader for creating normal maps from 3d geometry. Also great for creating normal maps from other autouv shaders.

I have not been able to get good normal maps from 3d geometry yet.
Can we get a video of that as well?

Thanks,
oort
Micheus,

good morning from this timezone (Philippines)

I would like to use the shaders, but what I do will not work to allow them to be displayed in the drop-down box to choose which one. It may be as simple as not setting an option correctly as wings does not misbehave ...

I use Wndows 8.1 with openGL older than version 2.1, and wings3d 1.5.4.

thanx for your help

You should to find them when you click on New Pass button.
ok thank you I'll try that
The file for download: wpc_image_mixer.auv and image_mixer.fs
The must be put into plugins\autouv folder (somethink like this: C:\Program Files\wings3d_2.2.5\lib\wings-2.2.5\plugins\autouv).

When we draw what we do in the Create Texture->Draw Option dialog when we stack slots/layers we can see that Wings3D has a node system hidden for a long time. Biggrin

It's more convenient than I expected.

Besides Wings's vertex color AO baking to the image that was imported.

And,Textures can be tiled with scaling below 100%.
It can easily apply imported texture repetitions on the ground, walls, floors to an object.
Thank you!
