Coming back to Wings after not using it for quite a while and I'm scratching my head over this one. Perhaps I'm just misremembering…

My memory is that you used to be able to mouse click on the main geometry window menu bar to make all ancillary windows (such as the geometry graph and outliner) appear and disappear which gave you a quick way to work full screen in the main geometry window.

Now it doesn't seem to work and I'm wondering if I'm misremembering or just going insane. Please pull me out of my tailspin into insanity…
You must click on title bar. That will bring the Geometry window to front and an other click will send it back.
I think you have found the problem. My geometry window doesn't have a title bar just a menu bar that's locked to the top of the Wings window. What have I done to screw this up? LOL

I just found the cause of the problem and the solution in this thread:

I temporarily upgraded to 2.0.5 just to try it out and saved one of my working wings files in that version. I then decided I didn't like 2.0 and uninstalled it, reinstalled 1.5.4 and then opened the same file which then resulted in the disappearing title bar on the main geometry window. Luckily I had a full preferences file saved from before I upgraded to 2.0 and was able to restore my screens to the way they were. Whew!
