I'm looking into making musical instruments in Wings (basically making my own Animusic machines for videos), and those come with a lot of keys. 128 keys, to be exact (for using MIDI to animate objects)

Can Wings sequence name objects like that?
(i.e. Key1, Key2, Key3, Key4 and so on...)

It would save a ton of time in the modeling process.
you have the option to rename a group of selected objects. It's easy to select many objects in the geometry window (using marquee) and then using rename [RMB] which enable you to rename these objects with the same name followed by a sequential number.

specifically what you see at 1:30
Okie, that works.

Edit: ok, I just tried doing that, and all it did was rename one of the objects. I have no idea how I messed up, cause I followed exactly what the video did.
It might be something with v2.2.7
I just checked it and it's working.

You need to use the Rename [RMB] option at Geometry Graph. Then choose the Selected Objects option instead of Search.
Take a look at the tooltip/hint text - I used the option to start to renumber from '3', but it can be omitted if you want to start from 1 (Sphere_%):
