For those that have a Photoshop application the Quixel is releasing a new version of DDO and they made their legacy dDo available for free.

Here is the link to DDO (the link for download is next to "Buy Now" button.

Here is a video I found about it: dDo Quickie - Basic workflow
Micheus,
The video looks very impressive. I will have to check out dDo... Smile

Thanks,
oort
Yeah, it looks awesome.

As I don't have Ps and I do not use these tools for commercial purpose, last month I bought the Substance Painter Beta (I will have access to the non commercial license once it is released) that also looks very interesting and at this point seems to be "cheap" ($75) for this kind of software. It's a 3d painter and it have also an interesting brush - particles brush. Check out it here.

p.s. I just saw that they changed the EULA a little:
Quote:IMPORTANT UPDATE: We authorize the use of the Non-Commercial version of Substance Painter to any indie / company generating less than US$10K a year in revenue (based on prior fiscal year).
For those who have a Photoshop installed the Quixel released its SUITE 2 (Indie, Hobby & Freelance), the full pack (NDO Painter, DDO Painter and 3DO Baker) with 40% OFF: $79.00.

I think it's a "cheap" package by considering the content. The Substance Painter 2 (Indie license) is now costing $149.00.
Micheus hello! Do you know which version of Photoshop does the indie version needs?

In the bottom of their page they noted: "... Photoshop CS3 and above"
