Yeah...It's amazing how stuff disappears.
Fortunately there are communities working to preserve iconic discussions like these.

Not sure if this is the ideal thread to post this, but Tony Jung's Silo tutorials about box modelling are VERY useful. No matter he used Silo, the workflow is perfectly suitable by using Wings3D.

The following page has a html pages index: just open each one, and you will have a complete lesson. It is fine.
