2.0 default antialiasing? - Wegg - 08-20-2015

I'm not a fan of anti-aliasing in my 3D animation/modeling packages. It certainly looks nicer but when things get really detailed they tend to get very muddy. Will we be able to turn of anti-aliasing for wings 2.0+?

I second this. Aliased edges tend to be better to work with when you want to be really precise.

Are you looking for Edit > Preferences > General tab > Edge Display > Draw Anti-Aliased Edges?

oort, by default that box is not checked. It appears to not do anything currently. I guess that slides this up into bug territory.

Yeah I turned on AA on the OpenGL drawing area now,
so that seems to override whatever we do in the code for edges.
I guess that is dependent on how drivers handles things.
Will do some more testing.

Remind me if I do not remember it in the next release.

Mentioned this in the bug report thread, but I too am NOT a fan of it being on (currently).

@Wegg: would love to get some info about your colour scheme, love the darkened UI

That can be shared easily by using File->Save Preferences Subset; marking the Graphical Settings checkbox and chosen a file name.
The file can be shared and who wants to use the settings just need to use File->Load Preferences Subset; browse for the file name; mark the Graphical Settings checkbox and hit Ok;
