AutoUV Mapping - spacing of faces in resulting texture map - mickeydsc - 08-26-2015

Is there a setting or a method within the AutoUV process that would allow me to define spacing between the mapped faces? When AutoUV generates the texture map, it tends to bump the faces together where the faces are so close that sometimes I get bleedover when I go to paint them. Having some gaps in the texture map would go a long way to making the painting process easier.

An automated solution to that would be a time saver for when AutoUV creates lots of different faces, hence avoiding the need to select and shift faces before creating the texture.

The easy way?
In selection vertex mode [V], select everything (use marquee selection) and then Scale->Uniform until get the space you want. Wink

Ah ... to quote an old saying from my part of the world ... "If it were a snake it would have bitten me."

Thanks for pointing out a simple solution Smile
