Someone has asked me about a thread primitive that could make easier to build screws and similar. I hope this help.
I think it really became easier to build screws like this:
Download the file wpc_thread.tar and use the File->Install Plug-in or Patch to install it. After that, restart Wings3D.

is there a way to move it down the menu order so its not listed first?
I don't want it above cube etc

In this case it's possible. Since the plugins are loaded by name order the "T" comes after "S" and then I could track the menus and put it after Spring.
But, sometimes there is no way to put a item where want. I just updated the file.
