Thanks for the link Micheus.
I have wings3d 1.5.3 from May 2014 running on Windows XP - when I choose Merge there is no options dialogue and I am taken directly to the file directory and the whole file chosen is imported.

Sorry, I was too short in my answer.
It doesn't exists in the official version - it's an unofficial files "update". You have to access that link I shared before and you will find a link for download (there are zip files for 1.5.2 and 1.5.3 - read the readme.txt before)
