How do I generate a Wings UI font based on an existing TrueType font?

I have a lot of fun with this .....
in Win7, Wings3d won't open and read the \Windows\Fonts folder (Admin Privilege) but TTF Fonts are not very big. So just copy your Fonts into another folder in your \My Documents, unzip your downloaded fonts into the same folder. Then in Wings3d click the little square in the Text option, and when it asks browse to the new font folder location.

I don't mean creating text meshes. I mean changing the font in the Wings UI controls.
