RE: Desktopsimmer's Models - desktopsimmer - 04-21-2014 01:09 AM Render using POV-ray of the X-15 with Boom Nose and XLR-11 Engines, and the other X-15 is the Ball Nose and XLR-99 Engine. RE: Desktopsimmer's Models - micheus - 04-21-2014 02:57 PM The models are awesome - as usual, but that render is a little weird. I'm sure POV-Ray can do it better. It's not only because of AA seems to not be used. I'll render the scene with AA. RE: Desktopsimmer's Models - ukashkartim - 04-25-2014 03:02 PM hi; You've done is simply amazing. I congratulate you. I'm very curious. What should I use'm on where to start? I would appreciate if you can help in this regard. thanks RE: Desktopsimmer's Models - desktopsimmer - 10-19-2014 04:05 PM Sorry for the extremely late reply. I've just been busy recently. I started by looking for good 3 view drawings. Then looked for cross sections drawing to get the shape correct. Then for the final part of the 3D model I used a lot of photos for small objects that didn't appear on drawings. Here are 3 ISS renders with the Space Shuttle, Soyuz and SpaceX Dragon. the Render system I used is Kerkythea. RE: Desktopsimmer's Models - kemfinomas - 03-24-2015 05:11 PM wow! very beautiful!
