Hi there, new here
I've been playing around with Wings3D for a couple days now and I have to say that it's the nicest thing to come along in 3D modelers since Milkshape!
Honestly, I really think it's missing only one thing (so far). A lathe.
Any old Truespace folks out there will remember this one and it was a really fantastic tool. For those who don't know:
The lathe tool would open up a plane with a highlighted axis on one edge. This would be the center of the object's rotational path. You can then plot vertices with connecting lines in whatever shape you want, select how many slices you need, click the button and *bam* - you've got a glass or a vase or a space station or whatever.
Any thoughts?
