Hello Micheus,
Your Curve tool is very impressive. Can you tell me when this plugin will be ready to use ? I'm learning WING3D with your great videos. Thank you for your support, Micheus Best regards PHIL 92 |

RE: Playing with Wings3D for fun (Micheus)
I have been testing and working on it regularly for the last two months and I'm still finding some hidden bugs. The best way is using it - that is why I have been sharing some meshes I create using it.
So, I hope I can make it available soon, but I don't want it to be breaking the user's works easily after all this time I have coding it - we expect a little of stability.

A glass of water
Last week I read found an article talking about how wrong we use to "assemble" an glass of water object. I did the test and I like the result - the link for the article is here.
Yesterday, because of a tip from sciroccorics user in this post, I got back to this test object, improved a little the scene and found a good HDRI map to use: ![]() Left the final objects/scene and right before export the POV-Ray file: ![]() I tweaked the file to add some extra elements and build the table texture. The HDRI map I got from Interior HDRI Free Pack

Really impressive rendering ! Far above what I am able to produce, so this is a great motivation for trying to learn more about rendering. Glad to see that the "triangulate" tip before POV export has some utility

RE: Playing with Wings3D for fun (Micheus)
I started by wanting to use the Curve Tools plugin to build stitches and I ended up by making this pair of objects.
![]() The problem working with textures to be seen in closeup is they requires more details and fine tune. I spent a lot of hours preparing all these maps - its therapeutic when its for fun. ![]() Card holder: ![]() Pick a flavour... ![]() Bank card: ![]() The textures were created with Gimp. #wings3d #3d #3dmodeling #3dart
