[not a bug] Loop cut tube bug
Create a tube
right click -> Cylinder -> Gear icon
click "tube" -> OK

Now two ways to see this bug.
1.
Select all the up-facing faces
Extrude Y up
Loop select inside and outside middle seams
Loop cut

There is an undeletable face inside both ends of the halves.

2.
Select the top faces
Extract up
There is an undeletable face in the center.

I'd rather live with false hope than with false despair.

I'm not sure that is a bug. It works that way since I ever. Smile

I always select both new faces and Bridge then - done.

Maybe the software should just add that step. BTW Excellent solution. THANKS

micheus has right. it works OK.
if you use loop cut for tube you will never get it identical pieces.
See my solution:

additionally, working with key-short cuts is more comfortable, try 'E' for Edge, 'F' for Face, 'V' for vertex... and if you want to select all faces for circle shape, try: select one edge (E) then 'G' and press 'F' - as shown below:

I understand, but we use our human eyes to see that as obvious. The software don't really know we are cutting a pipe in such situation. It could be different parts of the pipe and weld that would not be our intention.

But, if we were talking about boolean operations, then I agree it should to know about that. Smile

Hank, thanks for the help.
