Future updates?
The last new release of wings was all the way back in nov of 2013 and it seems like this program has yet to improve in any meaningful way. It seems like all that is done at the moment is bugs are being fixed. Are there any plans to release new features or to modernize wings3d? I think wings could learn a thing or two from blender in this regard.

How much coding assistance are you willing to contribute to Wings3D to make the releases happen sooner? Blender updates happen very frequently because there are hundreds of man hours per month in coding contributed to that project.

You'll find plenty of extras here in the forums if you look around. The Selection Groups window started as a plugin, in the old forum, as did the 64bit rebuild, and what about ManifoldLab ..... yea GGaliens has got plenty extras ..... I'm using the current 1.52 64bit build, had to add the Manifoldlab plugins manually (put em in the Program/Plugins folder), also Micheus built me a special one (I feel so special) that added Transparency to the Selection Groups window ..... to work with my UI settings ... I keep several of the ManifoldLab functions on keyboard shortcut!! ...
