You should keep using your render if you are satisfied with it, agreed, cause deffinetly no one wants you to move on.
I do kind of prefer speed although many want something else.

Wings3d doesn't have its own render, so if someone wants a good render for a project he will need to send the project to some other 3d app.

I reccomend yaffaray as the best and chepest option.
