Option to disable left/right mousewheel zoom?

My mousewheel has the ability to scroll but also be pushed left and right. In Wings3D 1.5.4 the left/right movements did nothing but in 2.1.5 it makes the camera zoom.

Could there be an added option to disable this without having to disable mousewheel zooming entirely? The left/right movement of my mousewheel is really sensitive, causing issues when just trying to zoom normally when scrolling.
