The joys of booleans...
Just playing around with the booleans -and 'scatter' tool- in Wings' ML edition... All the cubes are scattered on a bigger cube and boolean-ed.
As is evident, this is an abstract experimental modelling sample. Imagine what somebody can achieve using those tools... (the rendering is done in Blender)  Detail:
