Ok thanks. I'll play around with the system until I find the old working ones. If, and I stress if I find a working set, I'll post which sets work for me. Until that time I will continue to use Wings 3d on Debian with this machine, an operating system I prefer anyway. Not that windows isnt great, it just seems to break all the time on intel hardware.
 I should also mention that this laptop did require a bios update and a graphics driver update at one time. I will try all possible solutions. I found this Driver Revision: 15.17.7.64.2141 June 08, 2010 on my laptop which I think is the original after I updated the bios. I'll let you know what happens. The exact file extension for this driver was Win7Vista_64_15177.exe when I downloaded it. |
