Measurements - Need some help

Here is the best that I could come up with...
This utilizes the absolute snap command, which by my eyes looks like it should have done the job and kept the proper width of the inner column, but for some reason it ends up being just a hair over 2.0. The second N that I show, as measurement reference was the same as the first, just all the pieces combined, so that I could draw an angle from each corner to measure the distance properly. I am stumped. @ppaul I realize that, in the grand scheme of things, having things exact truly doesn't matter, and my initial reason for creating the N within Wings was silly to begin with, but by God, I will get this thing exact now!! lol It has become a mission. And subsequently I have learned a boat load doing this. So there's that. |
