RE: Hotkeys
(08-31-2014 03:00 PM)ubiquity Wrote: As I work through the user interface I notice both the list of hotkeys and the menu listings show upper case whereas on my Windows XP installation only lower case hotkeys actually work. Is this discrepancy universal? It's not a discrepancy, it's a "feature". See, the uppercase lettlers represent those you see stamped in your keyboard (all uppercase) Hotkeys are case sensitive. So, if you want set a hotkay to use an "uppercase" char you have to use the SHIFT key together - like you do in any text editor. That meams you can creat many hotkeys by using the same char: A, SHIFT+A, CTRL+A, ALT+A, SHIFT+CTRL+A, and so on. ![]() I hope this clarify the concept about it.
