Just as the title says.
When making a bookshelf model I tried to duplicate a shelf placed at one end at the other end and have shelves placed in between. All duplicates were placed at the snap target.

Hi optigon
I tried it, but I'm not sure I got same result you are talking about. I used Absolute->.Snap. [RMB] (images below)
I thought it should use use the distance and direction (from reference to target) to create and place the copies - not between them.

Ah I see now. Maybe there should be some more options.

Thanks!

Hi Optigon, I just implemented the option you suggested. (or I think to have implemented Smile)

You can take a look at this video and check if it is really what you was looking for:

you can check the code here.

Now it needs to be accepted by the main devs. in order to be available in a future new version. (pull request #66)

Micheus,
That looks very impressive. Great job. Would it be possible to make duplicates placed randomly. This would make a Scatter random tool for placing marbles on the floor or hairs on an almost bald head. Just wondering... Smile

Probably, but I don't think that it's the right thing to do for this command. Smile

Maybe, we can think a bout a proper plugin for that.

As a huge fan of arrays, i have to ask you, Micheus, for a beam. Is it possible?! Or is there another way to install this add?
