We should say thanks! What I've been doing till now is rotate (and rotate) the view till I could see the back faces. Or use select all, then deselect unnecessary with CTRL+drag. Or select touching edges and convert to face selection. Or tear my hair out
 Also, thanks for all the wonderful tutors. Short and sweet. Even for a person like me who does not like video-tutors.
