Smooth shading in video not the same on my Mac?
Hi,
I'm learning from this video: Making a quick car in Wings 3D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgPAmlXBaPM Right at: https://youtu.be/JgPAmlXBaPM?t=2m38s It shows this: ![]() His smooth shading looks much more smooth than my computer's shading. Here's what I see on my computer: ![]() I was wondering, why would my smooth shading be more hard looking? Thanks! |

RE: Smooth shading in video not the same on my Mac?
Ahhh, SHIFT + TAB toggles Quick Smoothed Preview.
Now, just curious, but what is this mode used for? Do other programs know about hard/soft edges and whether or not you were in smoothed preview mode? For example, if I export out as OBJ, would Unity know about those things? Sorry if noob questions.
