Modelling totally in Wings, staging, shading and rendering in Blender's Cycles... My aim was to have a dreamy painterly feel as a final result. Will gladly hear any suggestions and criticisms...

Thanks a lot Oort, Jerry and Micheus! Indeed Cycles is a very powerful renderer with a very rich set of shading and texturing means (the so nice ceramic like feel that the image here has is very eloquent as to the power of those means). You can loose yourself playing with its shading options for whole hours. It is worth learning to make use of its delicacies.

As to our beloved Wings... it is still the best modeller around, to my evaluation! : - )
