Why the hell is it not extruding it "straight" like its always done?
Its exturding in every direction, both extruding and expanding... ![]() When I select the faces around a hole it wont fill... like its always done before. whats different now? I swear to God an extrusion on Z should not inset

RE: help ffs
seriously, this is Wings3D not 3dsmax (or similar). You are applying Extrude to a edge selection - it works different of what you want. You need to select the faces "inside" the "edge loop" you are using and then you can apply the Extrude (in face mode this time).
![]() By having these regions delimited by the selected edges you can easily select the "inner" faces by using [SHIFT]+[L] (Edge Loop to Region).

RE: help ffs
Worked, needed to extract edges so it made a face, then extrude the face. Thanks.
Also I'm using the newest version. The first picture, this is the end result. MP40, low poly, low res, I love it. Reminds me of my childhood video games (CoD1, bf1942...).
