Yeah! It's always an Intel driver issue. Long time ago someone post an image with the text: "Intel is not for 3D" - that is still valid, even more.
![]() I tested in my wife's notebook (Sony Vaio i5-2410M 2.30GHz 4GB Win7 64bit) with both integrated and dedicated video card and the result was the same as yours - very slow under Intel. So, as the basic graphic difference between 1.5.4 and 2.0.2 is the change from VAO to VBO I think that Intel still don't care about the performance of its integrated video cards.
