I'm using the default font and to be honest I don't use to look much on this window.
To get mono space chars in this control will require hard code implementation and you will need to look for fonts in wx that has this characteristic since you cannot guess all users have the same font installed. I suggest you to implement it and push to got. If it looks good I'm sure dgud would to consider accept it.
