hi all, i'm new here
hello all people of wings Smile

so i come from blender 3d (from wich i sold my books due to dificulty Sad ) to wings 3d on linux opensuse 42.1 leap. the fact is due to my code language (purebasic) i'm looking for any ogre exporter to test my modélisation in real time

i'm stéphane, who trought his win for opensuse on all computers to use daily, im' part of a linux association and then i do make gfx for demoscening here in france

have a goooood day or evening or else ^^

Hello and welcome!

While you can use Wings for modelling and texturing, at some point you might want more so getting to know Blender (or some other 3d package) would be a good ideea.

yes i do know some tips on blender 3d and i literally prefer wings3d due to more facilities to model with
i go search for rotate and all other functions but as it does lwo export I’m happy with
do you know how to export to mesh of ogre 3d engine ?

Hi,

I don't use Ogre but i know there is an exporter for it here Now, I dont know if and how it work.

My advice: Do as I do... I model in Wings, export as OBJ, import in Blender, and so export from there, or do my full scene there, importing all props and characters from wings. Is easy and fast.
