Tha's a excelent tutorial about how to create a game ready fire extinguisher. It was made for 3ds Max, but there is many informations/tips that can be applied to our Wings3D projects - mainly the unwrap/texture tips.
  • Part 1 (creating the high poly model of the fire extinguisher)
  • Part 2 (optimizing the high poly model to create a low poly model)
  • Part 3 (unwraping the low poly fire extinguisher model)
  • Part 4 (how to bake a Normal and AO map using 3ds Max)
  • Part 5 (how to texture our asset - it discuss the basic rules and pipeline of the texturing with the help of Photoshop and xNormal)
