Wings with tablets (Wacom and such)
Hi all,
I've seen that wings gets unusuable with my old Wacom. View rotation gets crazy. Is there any trick for this? If not, take this as a feature request of some option on preferences to change this behaviour. Thanks |

RE: Wings with tablets (Wacom and such)
I wonder ... if somehow ... an answer to this question might shed light on answer to why Wings in particular handles mouse controls less well than MeshLab ... under VirtualBox guest. I have been wondering if somehow ... testing under VirtualBox exposes a basic wings / mouse control flaw ?
Is there any good test strategy to figure out where mouse issues lay ? Is there a wxWidgest sample that is different from Wings ... but in perfect world ... should be on par with Wings3D w.r.t. mouse dragging and tracking ? I would like to be in a position to help myself and help others ... wrt solving weirdo mouse tracking problems. If not solving ... but maybe at least have a better smoking gun as to where they might live (At what API layer) ? |

RE: Wings with tablets (Wacom and such)
You can try if blender has the same behaviour with viewport rotation.

RE: Wings with tablets (Wacom and such)
In the settings there are custom drag response settings. maybe tweaking them will give better control.

RE: Wings with tablets (Wacom and such)
I can use my wacom with Wings3D I just set the tablet to mouse mode and good to go and that's also my wish that someday Wings3D can set to Wacom at preferences
