It isnt possible to re-assign it.
I use 3dsmax camera and i have to use Alt to rotate camera too. There isnt in fact any problem here. To adjust magnet radius you just have to hold Alt and drag mouse: you dont need to hold any mouse button to adjust the tweak magnet radius!  The only "issue" is that eventually, when we hold Alt to rotate camera the magnet blue circle "blinks" before we effectivelly begin rotate the camera.
