SW crash
I am writing to you for a problem that happened to me while I was creating the texture. In the Draw Options window I kept the default selections and clicked ok. At this point the program crashes.
I hope you resolve as soon as possible because this program is exceptional especially for its intuitiveness.

RE: SW crash
Could you please attach a print screen of the window just before you use the creat texture button - when you is going to get the crash?

Also, the dump file missed the initial part which show us you system information.

RE: SW crash
janluk66, by taking a better look at the dump file you sent me I notice we are talking about the v2.1.7 (not the current one).

In this case, there were a couple of bug fixes that you can find in this thread. Update all of them: Fixes for v2.1.7 (Patches)

RE: SW crash
Humm.

your log is slight different from the one reported before. Both shows in the message "error, no_gl_context", but they are preceded by different action. This one sees to be related to the drawing grid operation.

I cannot reproduce it in my PC (Windows 10 and NVidea GPU) with the v2.1.7 with all bug fixes, so it's hard to try to figure out what is happening in your system.

Did you applied the patches only for the v2.1.7 or do you have used any other from a previous version too?

As a test purpose, could please you disable the grid before to use the create texture command and see if the problem can be workaround by this action?

I also would like to ask you for the header of your dump file that was absent from the one you sent me. It's something like this:
Code:
Dump written 2018-11-17_10-39
Version: 2.1.7
OS: Windows 7 (build 7601, Service Pack 1), 64-bit edition
GPU: NVIDIA Corporation | GeForce GTX 1050/PCIe/SSE2
Window: geom
Reason: function_clause

Thanks
