For plugin-manager my Render set up is ON, but I can't see any option to choose from top menu... (File / Render)

Hank, that is not a bug. If no valid render app can be found there is no reason to drive the user to think something can be render.

You need to use Edit->Plugin Preferences to setup the render app path for that plugin, otherwise it will not show up in File->Render menu.

But, even doing that, the render system is broken for any plugin if you have some light to be exported (bug report and I commented that here too).

If you are going to use Kerkythea, then you can choose to not export your lights (by hidden them) and in Kerkythea app add lights there.
You also, of course, can use a previous Wings3D version to export render your project (if you kept it installed).

Last week it was decided about how that would be fixed and I still didn't check if I can make a path available of if we need to wait until the next release.

The render fix is now available. Check the Fixes for v2.2.1 (Patches)
