Website error?
On the download page it has 2.2.5 Stable on the 8th December 2020...
Apart from the date is this right? I wouldn't say it was stable on Windows 10, 2.2.4 is way nicer to use and I've seen no updates to the git branch My Gallery |

RE: Website error?
Yes it looks that something is wrong there - both stable and dev release are pointing to the same v2.2.5.
I didn't pay attention because of dgud announced it was a dev release: dgud Wrote: There have been a lot of changes in the build setup so I leave it as dev release

RE: Website error?
I thought 2.2.5 was stable enough to be labeled stable,
what have I missed that is broken in 2.2.5? |

RE: Website error?
The crash/hang when closing, this is really bad, trying work arounds just make it less predictable, it will crash using the File menu close, it will hang even after a save:
http://www.wings3d.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2897 http://www.wings3d.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2876 The development environment build doesn't hang, you need to test the release version.. missing tool tips, as a returning newbie you need these for quick reference, looking at the status bar is very counter productive http://www.wings3d.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2885 more of an announce but hey ho, tool dialog behind task bar http://www.wings3d.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2886 dae import still needs work 2,2,4 is much more stable and never crashes, if it does I've caused it lol My Gallery |
