Working with Manifoldlab version of Wings...
It is just a result of various experiments I have done with Wings' Manifoldlab version and Blender's new npr (non photorealistic rendering) renderer Freestyle... giving an idea about what can be achieved with the use of both those tools.
You can find a thread I did open in the Manifoldlab version section of the forum about the modelling of the shape.

It is pretty. Thanks for sharing. I'd like to try such a render.

RE: Working with Manifoldlab version of Wings...
Thanks all...
Really, Freestyle offers means for achieving an astonishing variety of npr styles... try it and see it for yourself. It is a joy... : - ) Btw... the way the modelling of the bevelled seams between the cylinder shapes has been done is explained in the thread 'A way of bevelling the boolean seams' of the Manifoldlab section of the forum. Have a look because it is very interesting to see the solutions that can be found using the Manifoldlab's tools... |
