Thumbsup Which is the most suitable 3D Program for newbie?
Hi all Wings3D members!

I'm a newbie and i like to learn about 3D very much. I've heard about some 3D Programs such as Blender, 3D MAX, Milkshape and now Wings 3D.

I wonder to know which is the most suitable program for me to learn? As you know, my knownledge about 3D is very limited.

Thanks for your advice!

P/s: Sorry for my bad English.

Khanh,
That probably depends on what you want to do. If you want something that is easy to learn you will definitely want to use Wings3D. If you want to do more than just 3D modeling and rendering of still images, you will want to learn Blender. You can use Wings3D for your modeling and Blender for Animation.

You can do it all (3d modeling and animation) in Blender but the learning curve is much greater for Blender. The same applies to programs that are not free. They will be more powerful but you have to pay for that power.

You can always start with free and move up to other software if you decide to make this more than a hobby.
