That probably depends on what you want to do. If you want something that is easy to learn you will definitely want to use Wings3D. If you want to do more than just 3D modeling and rendering of still images, you will want to learn Blender. You can use Wings3D for your modeling and Blender for Animation. You can do it all (3d modeling and animation) in Blender but the learning curve is much greater for Blender. The same applies to programs that are not free. They will be more powerful but you have to pay for that power. You can always start with free and move up to other software if you decide to make this more than a hobby. oort |
