saving as jpg or png?
I'm learning how to use Wings3D for simple objects. I am looking for a way to save a model as a jpg or png. Export image doesn't work because it is looking for some external programs. Is there another way? Could someone walk me through the process?
thanks, |

RE: saving as jpg or png?
You dont and can't export Models as pictures,
it is either OBJ,3DS,DAE etc... And about export images, dunno - normaly it should save the image and not trying to open some kind of image editor/viewer. Maybe tell us a bit more what are you trying to do with the models |

RE: saving as jpg or png?
xucaen, first of all welcome; second, if you are thinking in something like a screenshot you can use that option present in the Tools menu. The image will be available in the Outline window and there you can select the image and use the option Make External to save it as .jpg or .png.
If you are talking about of a "beautiful" image that you use to see arround made by other users, then you probably will need to install a render software like yafaray, POV-Ray or Kerkythea (all freeware) and learn a little about how to use them. You can start with this thread: YafaRay Rendering Software by oort
