Ok ... so you followed me over to Wings3D ... Good!
The table your looking at is sculpted and would be more time consuming than I have for this ... but I'll show you a basic starter then you can work from there...

First I'm using the Manifoldlab version.. Mines kinda special build as I've added plugins and custom UI ... but go to https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3cwsi5kvm0jeiae/MI5-gFdPqM and use the wings-1.5.0.2013-02-10---11-57.mlab.exe version should have it ...

Now I started with a cube, extruded two sides, then just moved the back face out. I connected the two longer edges, and tesselated the long-corner polygons to make the first shape. Then I selected the whole object, switched to Polygon mode and used Divide Rigidly from the "Lots more" menu (Manifoldlab). Then I selected some polygons from the bottom and extruded downward for the legs. I smoothed (subdivided) the whole object once, then used move and tweak to shape it better. I added a nice rim using extrude on a edge-loop and then beveling the result. Then I used hard-edge marks to mark the seams before UV-mapping.
As you learn to use Wings3d, you will find simple tricks that will help you along the way. You can set almost any function on a Keyboard Shortcut, and many are already set. Also notice functions like Flatten .. x,y,z ... For something like a table this can be very useful!! ...

I rendered this in Daz Studio, with a Photo-background. This was a fun project.
