Seperate shape in to a new object
Hello, im working on a 3d model and im having the following question:
If you have one solid object and you have a specific part that you want to seperate in to a new object so you can moove it and Unity3D will recognise as standalone model how do you do it? You can check the screenshot to see the parts that i want to seperate http://prntscr.com/3fsudh Thanks |

RE: Seperate shape in to a new object
With the faces selected you can use the L shortcut to select a region edge loop and then you use the command Loop Cut to separate the pieces.
Check is is this you are looking for.
