Cleanup command wont produce any effect if before you dont connect the (1)/(2) vertices indicated at your pic (Cleanup works elimitating coincident vertices just IF they are connected each other):

RE: Wings3d Channel Tutorials
"Ugly" faces are really a "hard" thing for newbies understand imo. Some basic situations i think about are in the following video.
A useful workflow (it doesnt solve every situations) is by performing the command Face|Tesselate|Quadrangulate. Scale edge (and vert too) along an Axis to a Point (mmb Scale Axis) is way it is shown in video to solve more "complex" situations. __________________________________ http://www.youtube.com/wings3dchannel http://www.facebook.com/wings3dchannel |

RE: Wings3d Channel Tutorials
I am uploading 5 new videos to 003 serie (Subdivision). I'll edit those videos to report all the content treated in each one, ok?! (this way any user can have an idea about what is being shown at each tutorial).
It is very hard this stage to me, because i still have to try build entire phrases ![]() Sorry for the bad english: in next tutorials (and even more), i'll be just pronoucing commands names. So i ask you, dont be bore with my speech in this phase, ok?! It is yet missing a 003 serie Subdivision #4: i forget to treat about Body|Auto-Smooth, to finish Edge|Hardness|Hard-Soft (crease) matter. All the new hd videos with audio are in this playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy...GvKkdDcqjn The new ones, 003 serie, Subdivision, are the following ones: Thanks for watching.

RE: Wings3d Channel Tutorials
Fonte Boa,
Thanks for all your hard work on these tutorials. No trouble understanding your English at all. There is a bit of an electrical buzz in the background. Not sure what that might be... maybe your monitor or PC??? Thanks again, oort |

RE: Wings3d Channel Tutorials
Thanks for the kind words, oort.
![]() It is a very poor english, but, as i've already said, the intention is to restrict the narration to just pronounce the commands names (and their variations) in the series above 004. I thank audience patience. ![]() The electrical buzz you mentioned appeared in all videos, or just some ones? I'll buy another microphone soon: maybe the one i am using is already obsolete... __________________________________ http://www.youtube.com/wings3dchannel http://www.facebook.com/wings3dchannel |

RE: Wings3d Channel Tutorials
Fonte Boa,
The noise doesn't prevent me from hearing you. It is just a background noise that might be distracting??? It is in all the 003 Subdivision videos in post #25. Maybe it is audible on my PC only??? oort |

RE: Wings3d Channel Tutorials
I'll give a look, oort.
I am crazy to record soon an aditional video about Hotkeys and one about Auto-Smooth, so that i can finally relax starting 005 serie, about Move, Rotate and Scale. Without them i wont be able to finally explain Secondary Selections. And then! Ah, then the entire thing will be really cool and it will be finally possible to see Wings in action!
