Opening Wings 3D
I downloaded wings 3D, but whenever I try to open it it says
"Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact installer's author to obtain a new copy. More information at: http://nsis.sf.net./NSIS_Error" I downloaded the 1.5.3 Windows 64b. I have also visited the said website and tried everything I could, and it still won't open correctly. |

That is the first time I hear about this problem installing Wings3d.
Anyway there are a couple of things you can do to try get it installed - check the tips in the NSIS' documentation: Why do I get NSIS Error (look for "If the software was obtained from the Internet")

I did try the directions on the NSIS website, and it didn't work. But I did go into my programs and features themselves to delete all programs that I didn't recognize and seemed shady. That did the trick, seeing that I can now open Wings 3D. Thank you micheus for you your post. It means a lot to be heard.
