Hallo everybody,
i found an bug.
If you export to vrml kicad and freewrl can't open it.
No errormessage are given.
I have an older exported file exported with wings3d Version 2.1.7. this file is OK. kicad and freewrl can open and show it.
The same with the wings3d Version 2.2.4:
exported too with the same settings to vrml.
kicad and freewrl can't open it.
Now i would looking for differents of the files.
In line ambientIntensity 1.0 in file of verion 2.1.7 thats OK.
In line transparency 0.0 in file of verion 2.1.7 thats OK.
In line ambientIntensity 0.0 in file of verion 2.2.4 thats NOT OK.
In line transparency 1.0 in file of verion 2.2.4 thats NOT OK.

If i changed the lines to the same of Version 2.1.7 then kicad and freewrl can show it good.
Many thangs for the great tool for 3d Creating. I use this for creating shapes of electronic components.

Greg

Linux: Arch-Linux
wings3d 2.2.4
Thanks for checking this and point the issue.

I noticed you are using v2.2.4.
The versions have cumulative fixes, so we don't fixe things for older version. So, the fix I'm providing here will not work for your version.

If you decide to upgrade to v2.2.6.1 you can go to Fixes for Wings3D and look for 2.2.6. Access the link and download the wpc_wrl.beam.
Thank you for your answer.
At this moment i can't install 2.2.6.
The new version are not in the Repos of Arch-Linux today. I can wait.
For this moment the best choice for me is the version 2.1.7.
Version 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 has other bugs in Arch-Linux.
Kind regards
Greg
Thanks Micheus,

Wings 3D (W32) v.2.2.6.1 is back on WRML Kicad's models.

wpc_wrl.beam file updated.
