It's been awhile but back to my favorite 3D modelling app.

Anywho, is there an option for padding when unwrapping? Like a pixel or two between UV data.

Unfortunately no.
The the islands are just placed in a organised - not optimised - location over the texture.
Usually we see options like this in apps that offer a UV packer tool.

Thanks a shame. Would be a nice simple feature to add.
