I am trying to use Wings3D to edit and manipulate OBJ files to create morphs for another software. I have run into a set of problems I can not seem to resolve or find an answer to and I am hoping I might find some help here at the source.
Here's the issue:
• I am trying to make some morphs for a Poser object in Wings3D. I have the object I have exported out of Poser (I have also tried versions exported out of Lightwave and Hexagon of this same object) which I have tried importing in Wings3d (I have thus far tried Wings3D 1.52 and 1.41 with the same issues).
• I create the morphs, only moving vertexes. I have not added or deleted any points or faces (in fact I once even simply imported the object and imediately exported it while changing nothing, and ran into problems).
• I then Export the OBJ out of wings. When I try to load it as a morph target in Poser I always get an error about vertex order not matching. I have tried various export settings from Wings3D - even using an import and not doing anything to it.
• I have tried suggestions I tracked down in other forums (disabling autosave, never saving it as a wings3D file, selecting all of the material faces prior to export...one suggested selecting the ._hole_. material and deleting it prior to export, but that material does not show up in my outliner or geometry graph windows).
I am completely stumped. Do you possibly have any tips or suggestions to correct the issue? Is this likely a version issue with the newer Wings3D and I need to track down an older version to use?

I would appreciate any help or advice.
Um .... Poser or Daz ......
I know Daz Genesis you have to export at 0 subdivision .... Parameter-Resolution-subdivision. Honestly for making morphs, Blender is better ... you can use mirror in sculpt with Blender because Blender will mirror the Stroke rather than vertex, leaving the vertex order intact. Make sure to import with "keep vertex order checked! ..... I use this all the time for Daz Studio ..... I do make Clothes and Props with Wings3D,
Not using Genesis. And blender does not have some of the selection or UV tools I like in wings 3D. Would really like to find the cause of the issue in Wings3D.
Yes I am slow but in the past I never took notice of the difference in polygon count when exporting models to .obj and .3ds.
