Hi. Im searching for method how to put some text (as seen below) around cylinder (or ring in my example). I can do this by hand, letter by letter, but this is too much time consuming and hard to set proper length.

What I should know and where to start with this ??
Thanks in advance Smile
hmm.... I would do it using the Bend command, in vertex mode.
Be sure to check the info line at the bottom, if you're not familiar with this command. Or check some video on the youtube wings channel.
VladD is right and you also will need to use the boolean plugin by ggaliens - the was a recent question about that, searches the forum for boolean.
boolean for just placing letters ? hmmmm strange I will try the Bend function

edit: thanks guys Smile
Now I understand this function (thanks to youtube video by ArrowTips).
