This competition has finished and the result is very impressive.
The 1st and 2nd place have used only POV-Ray function to create stunning images.
Looking to the picture we can't believe how they could do that without a model tool.

Even being possible use any tool for modelling I always get impressed with the fantastic results some artists show us in which have been used POV-Ray macro/coding - like the last one winner:
