This bug occurs only when XYZ axes and GroundPlane are hidden.
(I think many people may not use this setting for modeling...)
Also the camera referred to here is a view during command execution.

How to recreate the bug?
  1. Hide Gound plane and XYZ axes.
  2. Create cube and Select a face.
  3. For Example: Face>Move>Normal, and move the face.
  4. Press MMB for change camera view while moving mouse.
  5. Mouse move for camera rotation.
  6. But the view spinning suddenly and fell out of control.

I don’t know the bug occuers on Windows or Linux OS.
I tested only on OSX 10.14 with Wings3D v2.2.1
And it didn't happen in Wings3D v2.1.7
Best Regard Smile
